Mortgage Rates Down a Fourth Straight Week
From the Associated Press
Rates on 30-year mortgages fell for a fourth consecutive week as a slowing economy allayed concerns about inflation.
Mortgage giant Freddie Mac said 30-year fixed-rate mortgages fell to 6.52% this week, the lowest level for the mortgages since the week of April 13, when they averaged 6.49%.
The rates do not include add-on fees known as points.
