2 Wounded in Shooting on 60 Freeway Ramp in Industry
Two men in their 20s were seriously wounded early Thursday in a car-to-car shooting on a freeway ramp, authorities said.
The men were entering the westbound Pomona Freeway at Azusa Avenue in the city of Industry shortly after midnight when a vehicle came up next to the passenger side, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Paul Schrader. A gunman fired several rounds and drove away.
Both victims were taken to the hospital, with the passenger listed in “extremely critical” condition and the driver in serious condition, Schrader said. Three passengers in the rear were not injured, he said.
