From Times Wire Reports
A freight train slammed into a passenger bus and dragged it down the tracks in central Mexico, killing at least 22 people and injuring 14 others, police said.
The bus driver apparently was trying to beat the approaching train across the tracks, said Alberto Mena, Mexico state’s public safety spokesman.
He said the crash was in Cuautitlan, north of Mexico City.
