Car Cuts Through Crowd at Madison Regatta

A car plowed into a crowd at a speedboat race on the Ohio River, injuring 11. Police said the driver, Michael Bowen, 18, was slumped over the wheel as the car cut through the crowd at the Madison Regatta and plunged into the river. Four of the injured, including Bowen, were airlifted to hospitals in Louisville, Ky., about 40 miles away. The others were treated and released.
