Government, IAEA Urge Iran to End Atomic Work

The head of the U.N. nuclear monitoring agency and Germany’s foreign minister urged Iran to halt all uranium enrichment work to help revive collapsed nuclear talks between Tehran and the European Union.
Mohamed ElBaradei, director-general of the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency, told reporters that in light of the concerns among some nations that Iran’s nuclear program may aim to build a bomb, it was important for Tehran to resume a moratorium on uranium enrichment that it ended early this year.
