MySpace launches Spanish websites

MySpace will try to increase its appeal among Latinos in the U.S. and South America with Spanish-language versions of its social-networking website.

The company said it designed one version for U.S. Spanish speakers and another for South Americans. The sites are part of owner News Corp.’s effort to expand the global reach of MySpace, which has websites designed for 12 countries.
