Victim of shooting April 15 dies of injuries

The 19-year-old victim of a shooting last week has died, authorities said Tuesday.
Miguel Fernandez, who had been at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana since the April 15 shooting, died Monday.
Fernandez was shot in the upper torso after being approached by occupants of another car while driving north on Edinger Avenue in the 1200 block of South Main Street, Police Cmdr. Ruben Ibarra said.
Police said they determined that Fernandez was not a gang member.
