Update -- No team in the league is struggling more than the Sparks, who have lost nine of their last 11 games and seek to avoid the franchise’s first six-game losing streak when they take on Seattle. And that means facing 6-foot-5 Storm standout Lauren Jackson, who has dominated the Sparks, scoring 35 points on June 24 and 23 last Tuesday -- both victories for the Storm. A healthy Taj McWilliams-Franklin would help the Sparks’ inside game, but she has been slowed by a sore right hamstring. The Sparks’ co-leader in scoring at 11.6 points per game and top rebounder with an average of 5.9 per game, McWilliams-Franklin was selected Monday as an All-Star reserve. Despite her injury, she played nearly 23 minutes and scored 10 points in Saturday’s 110-89 loss to Connecticut.
