Fisher to design new art center
They haven’t selected a location yet, but board members of the Palos Verdes Art Center said Wednesday they have chosen L.A.-based Frederick Fisher & Partners to design a new facility for them.
Several locations for the new art center are under consideration, but the board may also decide to rebuild at the current site on Crestridge Road in Rancho Palos Verdes.
Among the projects Fisher has designed are the Lois and Robert F. Erburu Gallery at the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, the Galef Center and Maltz Gallery at the Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles and the Broad Art Foundation in Santa Monica.
