Recall notice on Weiss was improperly served
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
City Clerk Frank Martinez said that a recall notice had been improperly served on Councilman Jack Weiss on Tuesday.
The recall notice was left at the front desk of Weiss’ office. It had the wrong date and lacked proof of service, Martinez said.
The recall effort is spearheaded by several Westside homeowners. Elijah May, a spokesman for the campaign, said the campaign planned to re-serve the notice.
