From Times Wire Reports

Hurricane Lorenzo quickly weakened to a tropical depression after hitting Mexico’s central Gulf Coast, but three people died in a landslide in Puebla state.

Before dissipating, the storm battered a coastline populated with small fishing villages and beach hotels, knocking over electrical poles, blowing off roofs, flooding homes and forcing about 5,000 people into shelters.
