The Scottsdale art galleries in Old Town Scottsdale: On Thursday nights the galleries stay open late, often offering wine and cheese.
Night life: Martini Ranch, Barcelona, Axis, Dos Gringos, Big Bang and the Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch. Shopping: Biltmore Fashion Park, Scottsdale Fashion Square, the Borgata and the Boulders and Kierland Commons.
Activities: Hiking trails include Pinnacle Peak, Camelback and Papago Park. Arizona Museum of Natural History in Mesa has a dinosaur exhibit kids love.
