The NBC competition series “America’s Toughest Jobs” will premiere Aug. 25, 2 1/2 weeks earlier than previously announced, in an attempt to take advantage of promotion during the network’s coverage of the Olympic Games.

Four episodes of “America’s Toughest Jobs” will air at 9 p.m. Mondays, after original episodes of the game show “Deal or No Deal.” “America’s Toughest Jobs” will then move to Fridays at 8 p.m. beginning Sept. 19.

“America’s Toughest Jobs” puts 13 contestants into what NBC called “some of the most challenging, dangerous and demanding jobs on Earth,” with “their new boss and co-workers” determining if they will remain on the series.
