Re “A family’s borderline existence,” Column One, July 22

Your newspaper gives the front page to a woman who marries an illegal immigrant and now has to live in Tijuana until 2016, when her husband can be admitted into the U.S.

You should be putting on the front page the murder of three U.S. citizens from San Francisco by an illegal immigrant and alleged gang member who should have been deported long ago because he had committed previous crimes. The Times cares more about this woman than the loss of a father and two of his sons. You have terrible priorities.
