Bank to aid nations in rice crisis

The Asian Development Bank announced emergency funding to help countries struggling with soaring rice prices.
The aid will come as “sizable” soft loans, bank President Haruhiko Kuroda said at a news conference in Madrid, where the bank is holding its annual meeting.
