Fraud charges: In an article in the Business section on Saturday about an alleged $25.7-million investment scam, The Times reported that the Securities and Exchange Commission had sued the Rev. John V. Slye of Grace Community Church in Arlington, Va. The actual defendant in the SEC complaint is the father of the Grace Community pastor, who is also named John V. Slye and is also a minister.
