Talk show: The sometimes controversial talk-show host Michael Savage will have a new outlet beginning Monday when KGIL-AM (1260) puts his syndicated program into the 7-9 a.m. weekday spot, replacing Neal Boortz.

Cartoon art: Ohio State University’s Cartoon Research Library said it’s acquiring the collection of the International Museum of Cartoon Art, about 200,000 works that have been in limbo since the museum’s last physical location closed six years ago.
