Two women have sued Ticketmaster in federal court in New Jersey and are seeking class-action status.
The suit filed in Trenton alleges the company fraudulently raised prices by sending online customers to a subsidiary reseller.
The lawsuit is similar to one filed this year by the state of New Jersey over Bruce Springsteen tickets. Ticketmaster settled with the attorney general’s office in that case by agreeing to change its online sales process.
