Hollywood Headlines: A crazy week in review

Out came the dish this week -- and not just the one holding the turkey. Fantasia Barrino testified Monday that she knew from the start that boyfriend Antuan Cook was married and living with his wife. Previously, Fantasia was telling a fantasy, saying she didn’t know Cook was hitched. But then, adultery is a crime in North Carolina, whereas in Los Angeles it’s more of a sport. Charlie Sheen found himself threatened with a civil suit the other day, filed by porn star Capri Anderson. Capri -- who made the announcement on “Good Morning America” (just the kind of show you want your dirty laundry aired on) -- then stopped by the NYPD to file a criminal complaint about what happened between her and Chuck while at the Plaza Hotel in late October. Meanwhile, Charlie filed a lawsuit against Capri (real name Christina Walsh), alleging extortion and theft. The American Music Awards were held Sunday, and although they may have been rendered forever obsolete by giving Justin Bieber four, the fashion show on the red carpet was as captivating as ever. A routine New-York-to-Moscow made headlines this week when an emergency was declared soon after takeoff and the plane had to return to John F. Kennedy International Airport, where it made a safe landing. But making the flight that much more auspicious was one of the passengers -- presumably a first-class passenger: Leonardo DiCaprio. The “Aviator” star signed autographs for all the crew members when they landed, which one can only imagine is a just reward for landing a plane safely after a compressor stall. Cher placed her high heels into some wet concrete last week, leaving her mark forever more in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. The actress/singer was joined by son Chaz and mom Georgia as she laid down handprints too. Capping it off were the 33 rescued Chilean miners, who happened to be driving by in a tourist bus as it all went down.
