Earthquake: 3.3 quake strikes near King City, Calif.
A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Thursday evening 16 miles from King City, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:19 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 5.6 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 23 miles from Greenfield, Calif., 26 miles from Coalinga, Calif., 30 miles from Soledad, Calif., and 164 miles from Sacramento.
