Massive storm blankets Southeast with snow and ice

The heaviest snow from a massive storm in the Southeast fell in northwest North Carolina and southern Virginia. Some areas of those two states saw more than a foot of snow by Sunday afternoon. Authorities urged people to stay home Monday in areas where driving was dangerous.
