Letters: Bullet-train woes

Share

Re “Getting back on track,” Opinion, Feb. 13

“Seduced” train lover Tom Zoellner wrote a curious opinion piece about the proposed bullet train, in which he seems to favor its implementation. His article outlines facts that the proposed route is all wrong, too many stops are planned, the train journey will be too slow, the costs will go up and the train will never pay for itself.

Yikes. What do bullet-train detractors say?

It is no wonder most Californians (59% in the referenced poll) hope this fiasco never gets on track.
