Re “Another Clinton campaign?,” Opinion, Sept. 25
When Bill Clinton bemoans the length of modern presidential campaigns, he only has to look in the mirror to see who is to blame. Much of his first term in office was a “permanent campaign,” in which almost everything he did was in preparation for his 1996 reelection effort.
