From LAX, round trip to the new Everett, Wash., airport, for $193 on Alaska

Paine Field, which was to have begun commercial flights on Monday, was delayed because the workers needed to complete its Federal Aviation Administration paperwork were furloughed. Alaska was hoping for a new opening date of March 4.

This week it announced a fare sale from LAX to Paine Field in Everett, about 40 miles north of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, for travel beginning March 5.

Here are the details:

Fare: From LAX, $193 round trip, including all taxes and fees, to Everett, Wash., on Alaska

Restrictions: Fare, subject to availability, is for travel March 5-30. You must buy your ticket by Feb. 18.
