Tours & cruises: Whale watching in Manitoba
The Great Canadian Travel Co.’s six-day “Churchill Beluga Whale Tour” takes travelers to observe migrating belugas at the mouth of Canada‘s far-north Churchill River. Other highlights include a “tundra buggy” excursion to see other wildlife and town tours.

Dates: Departures every Saturday from July 2 to Aug. 13
Price: About $1,900, double occupancy (single supplement about $600), including hotel accommodations, airfare between Winnipeg and Churchill, an airport transfer in Churchill and all sightseeing and boat tours. Not included are meals, a 5% tax and a fuel surcharge (if applicable). Kayak or snorkel with the belugas for an additional $170, including wetsuit rental.
