Italian teacher describes life on lockdown during coronavirus outbreak

Mariangela Silvestri is a teacher in the Lombardy region of Italy, the hardest-hit by COVID-19. She continues instructing students remotely and describes life in lockdown. “We must be hopeful…because you have to believe in something, and one piece of this something is everyday life,” says Silvestri.
