Fans of Ford’s 2015 Mustang now know just how big a check it will take to put the sleek new coupe or convertible in their driveway.

Ford has announced the next-generation pony car will start at $24,425 for the base V-6 coupe and top out at $43,620 for an automatic V-8 convertible. All prices include destination fees but no options.

The base Mustang comes with a 300-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 and a six-speed manual transmission. Its base price is about $1,100 more than the outgoing generation. Buyers in sunny climes have the V-6 convertible to consider, which clocks in at $29,925.

Next in the Mustang lineup is the all-new EcoBoost model, which will start at $25,995. This version uses a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. Though those numbers are close to the output figures of the V-6, the EcoBoost model will be conspicuously more efficient, though Ford hasn’t announced final EPA figures yet.

The droptop version of the EcoBoost will run $35,495.

Finally, no Mustang lineup is complete without the V-8. The 2015 GT coupe starts at $32,925 and comes with Ford’s 5.0-liter V-8, which makes 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. A convertible version will start at $42,425 for models with the six-speed manual gearbox.

Each of the three Mustang variants will be available with a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle-shifters for an additional $1,195.

Ford’s sixth-generation muscle car was unveiled earlier this year in a synchronized event in cities around the world that highlighted the automaker’s goal to position the Mustang as a global vehicle. The 2015 model has been completely redesigned, with a sleeker profile that Ford hopes will pull in more younger buyers and sports car fans alike.

Ford says its dealers are already taking orders for the new Mustang, though deliveries won’t start until this fall.
