Cadillac Escalade for ‘Ugly Americans’
The Cadillac Escalade just screams “Ugly American” (“Cadillac Propelled by ‘Slade Star Power,” Nov. 24).
Anyone who drives one broadcasts their ignorance, social irresponsibility, mega-polluting ways, and their support for terrorists that kill our people (as oil dollars fund terrorists as the U.S. imports 28% of its oil from the Middle East).
And it is a pity that the civil rights that elder African Americans fought so hard for has evolved into ostentatious and vulgar displays of wealth by so many younger blacks with money who’ve made the Cadillac Escalade the hip-hop vehicle of choice.
