The holiday season is bearing down on us, and you know what that means: sick days.

In the last year, 30% of workers have called in sick when not actually ill, according to a survey from Harris Interactive. Most tend to do it more around the winter holidays.

Some employees choose to forgo the usual "I have a cold" rationale and get a bit more creative. Here are the 10 craziest excuses, via Careerbuilder.com.
