Orange juice futures rose to a 14-year high in New York on Tuesday as Tropical Storm Chris formed in the Caribbean and made its way toward the U.S., raising the prospect of damage to Florida’s citrus groves. Juice futures for September delivery rose 6.25 cents, or 3.7%, to $1.755 a pound on the New York Board of Trade, after reaching $1.76, the highest for a most-active contract since November 1991.
