Share

A turnkey home owned by actors and home renovators Jeremy Renner and Kristoffer Winters has come on the market in Hollywood at $4.795 million.

Rich in Hollywood history, the 1926 Traditional-style two-story was once the home of early filmmaker Preston Sturges, who was known for directing screwball comedies and won a best original screenplay Oscar for “The Great McGinty.”

Set in a Runyon Canyon foothill area, the 7,000-square-foot Hamptons-inspired house is secreted behind mature hedges.

Restored to reflect its earlier grandeur is an 1,800-square-foot great room with the original copper-topped bar and fireplace. Other living spaces include a family room, an updated eat-in kitchen, five bedrooms and six bathrooms. A 1,200-square-foot attached guesthouse has a kitchen, a dining area and a patio.
