Damon Wayans is ready to move on from his Santa Monica condominium of more than a decade, listing the ocean-view unit for sale at $6.5 million. At that price, the comic actor stands to nearly double his money on the condo — records show he bought the property in 2005 for $3 million.

The 3,093-square-foot pied-a-terre is in a 16-unit building constructed in 1997 and is one of only four top-floor condos. An open floor plan includes a formal dining room, a living room with a fireplace, an eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

A den is currently being used as a media room/office, and there’s also an enclosed laundry room off the kitchen. The master suite, with two walk-in closets, his and hers bathrooms and a fireplace, takes in views of Palisades Park and the coastline.

An ocean-facing balcony is shared by the common areas and the master bedroom.

Other perks of the residence include 24-hour concierge service and access to a workout facility and a rooftop lounge with a swimming pool. Two parking spaces are included with the unit.

Curt Northrup and John Iglar of Teles Properties hold the listing.

Wayans, 55, got his start in stand-up and created the comedy “In Living Color” in 1990 with his brother Keenan Wayans. He starred in the comic films “Major Payne” (1995) and “Blankman” (1994) as well as the series “My Wife and Kids” (2001-05).

He recently bought another home in the Hancock Park area for $5.35 million. The Traditional-style compound, built in 1949 and extensively updated, includes a main house, a guesthouse, a swimming pool and a pool house on nearly half an acre.
