Filmmaker Francis Veber looks to cast a tenant for Venice Beach town home
The Venice Beach home of French filmmaker Francis Veber has come up for lease at $18,000 a month.
Set along the boardwalk, the modern town home has unobstructed ocean views, two beach-facing patios and a rooftop deck. Walls of windows and oversized glass doors bring the scenery inside.
Features of the home include high ceilings, warm hardwood floors and a media room. The chef’s kitchen and breakfast area open to the step-down living room, which has a fireplace. Three bedrooms and four bathrooms lie within 3,029 square feet of white-walled living space.
There’s also an attached two-car garage.

Veber, 80, is a director, screenwriter and producer. He has scores of film credits that include “The ComDads” (1983), “The Birdcage” (1996) and “The Dinner Game” (1998). His 1980 film comedy “La Cage aux Folles” received an Oscar nomination for best adapted screenplay.
He bought the property nine years ago for $2.975 million, records show.
