Paisleys sell Pacific Palisades home
Country musician Brad Paisley and his wife, “Nashville” actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, have sold a home in Pacific Palisades for $2.5 million.
The restored house, with more 1920s character than country vibe, features a two-story living room with a fireplace, beamed ceilings and stained-glass windows. The 3,394-square-foot home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a detached garage with a bonus room, a lawn and citrus trees.
Singer-songwriter Paisley, 40, spent this summer on his Beat This Summer tour playing paisley-patterned guitars. He has toured with Reba McEntire and Taylor Swift, among country notables. His albums include “This Is Country Music” (2011) and “Time Well Wasted” (2005).
Williams-Paisley, 41, is a regular on the TV series “Nashville,” which is filmed in the Tennessee capital. Her film work includes “We Are Marshall” in 2006 and “Father of the Bride” movies in 1991 and 1995.

‘Dexter’ lists silent star’s house
Michael C. Hall, who starred on “Dexter,” listed his Ronald Colman estate home in Hollywood Hills for sale at $2.35 million last month and already has a buyer on the hook.
Designed and built in 1926 for Colman, a British actor who straddled the silent and talking film eras, the Spanish-style estate features a main house, guesthouse and tennis court turned garden on a third of an acre.
Features of the walled property include a courtyard garden and outdoor dining area, a media room, a wine room, five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and 4,600 square feet of living space. There is a three-car garage.
Hall, 42, starred as the murder-minded main character on “Dexter” since 2006. Before that he was on HBO’s funeral-home drama “Six Feet Under” (2001-05). Hall will star in the film “Cold in July” later this year.
He bought the property last year for $1.95 million, public records show.

Facing a Long commute
Actor Justin Long has put a Hollywood Hills house on the market at $2.1 million.
The modern Craftsman, built in 1990, sits on nearly a third of an acre behind rustic hand-hewn wooden doors that open to an enclosed courtyard. Features include balconies, a loft, a wet bar, two fireplaces, three bedrooms and four bathrooms in 3,388 square feet of living space. The fenced and terraced yard features fruit trees and a lawn.
Long, 35, was in this year’s romantic comedy “A Case of You,” which he co-wrote. He starred in “Drag Me to Hell” (2009), “Live Free or Die Hard” (2007) and “Accepted” (2006). The “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” actor played Mac in the 2006-09 ad campaign for Apple.
The property, purchased in 2008 for $1.999 million, has been on and off the market for sale or lease in recent years. Long is selling because he has work lined up on both coasts and no longer needs the house.
The Times Mapping Database considers the community to be Hollywood Hills, while the Multiple Listing Service defines the area as Los Feliz.

Leading lady lists home of note
Actress Mitzi Gaynor is putting her longtime home in Beverly Hills on the market at $5.495 million.
The nearly 4,200-square-foot Spanish villa, built in 1929, features beamed ceilings, leaded glass skylights, inlaid wood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors. A balcony off the master suite overlooks the swimming pool and yard of the close to one-third-acre property. There is also a maid’s room for a total of five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
A singer and a dancer, Gaynor made a name for herself as a leading lady in musicals such as “South Pacific.” She hosted numerous TV specials in the ‘60s and ‘70s and performed this summer at a benefit for the Ojai Art Center.

Wilmer Valderrama, who played exchange student Fez on “That ‘70s Show,” has listed his Tarzana compound for sale at $3.495 million.
Designed for work, workout and play, the property has a 2,300-square-foot office/gym and a volleyball court with a misting system. For after hours, there’s an ornate carved wooden bar.
Set behind gates and encompassing 2.2 acres, the compound also includes a 5,000-square-foot contemporary main house, a 1,700-square-foot guesthouse, a swimming pool and a tennis court.
Valderrama, 33, appeared this year in the series “Suburgatory” and “Raising Hope” and will star in the upcoming film “School Dance.”
The actor bought the property in 2005 for $3.525 million from martial artist and actor Chuck Norris, public records show.

Nagra, 37, is known for her role on “ER” (2003-09) as Dr. Neela Rasgotra and in the film “Bend It Like Beckham” (2002), in which she starred. More recently she has appeared in the series “Alcatraz” and “Psych.”
The property was purchased in 2007 for $870,000.
