Actors Ashley Jensen and Terence Beesley have sold their home in the Hollywood Hills for $1.5 million.

The couple frequently entertained visitors at the Midcentury house, which has a view of the cityscape. The 2,404-square-foot home features a floating-style staircase, vaulted ceilings, three bedrooms and 21/2 bathrooms.

The pair put in an infinity pool that has a view of Hollywood, and Beesley designed the terrace and exterior space.

They sold to buy a more toddler-friendly house with a flat lawn.

Jensen played seamstress Christina on "Ugly Betty" (2006-10). Last year, she did voices for the animated films "Gnomeo & Juliet" and "Arthur Christmas." Beesley is writing a pilot.

Public records show the property was purchased in 2007 for $1.65 million.

Holly Purcell of Prudential California Realty in Los Feliz was the listing agent. Barbara Levine of Silverwood Properties represented the buyer.
