TLC’s Kirsten Kemp Becker lists Montecito estate for $5,195,000
The host of TLC’s series “Hope for Your Home” and “Property Ladder” should know from whence she speaks. Kirsten Kemp Becker, TV real estate show host and a real estate developer in her own right, has listed her Montecito estate at $5,195,000.
Becker renovated the 1901 home last year. The property has a total of eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, with five of the bedrooms in the redone two-story main house. There are two detached structures, each with a full bathroom and one with a kitchen. There is an attached guest apartment and a four-car garage. The compound sits on 1.71 acres. There are hardwood floors throughout.
On “Property Ladder,” novices buy homes in need of repairs and attempt to fix and resell them for a profit while viewers watch their frustrations along the way.
Kemp is also the author of “Flipping Confidential” (2007).
