Baltimore native Reginald F. Lewis established the first African American law firm on Wall Street, according to the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture Web site. He served as CEO of TLC Beatrice International. Lewis, who constantly gave back to the community by donating money to local programs and organizations, passed away in 1993.
The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture opened in 2005. |
