All three shows gained viewers from last week, according to early numbers from Nielsen. "CSI" ended its 14th season with a total of 9.9 million people total tuning in Wednesday, along with a rating of 1.9 among key 18- to 49-year-olds.
Among those advertiser-coveted young adults, "CSI" was up 12% compared with last week's episode, though it was down slightly from last year's finale. In total viewership, "CSI" was up 4% compared with the Season 13 closer.
On average, CBS won the night with a 2.2 in 18-49 and 10 million viewers overall, driven partly by "Survivor" and "Criminal Minds," which both gained a tenth of a point from last week to a 2.4 and a 2.3, respectively.
Fox was No. 2 with "American Idol," which fell 6% to a 1.7 in 18-49.
