TV ratings: Fox wins Thursday night with ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ finale

Fox’s two-hour “Hell’s Kitchen” finale boosted ratings and viewership for the network. Fox won Thursday night with an average 2.2 rating in the 18-to-49 demographic, according to preliminary numbers from Nielsen. A ratings point equals roughly 1.3 million viewers.

Fox drew an average 5.43-million viewers Thursday. “Hell’s Kitchen’s” 2.2 rating in 18-to-49 was an increase of 5% over the previous week’s episode.

Still, CBS’ “Big Brother” was the highest-rated and most-watched show of the night, drawing an average 6.83 million viewers, a 2% increase from last week. It’s 2.4 rating in 18-to-49 matched last week’s.

NBC’s “Hollywood Game Night” grew 8% to a 1.3 in the key demo. The Nick Lachey-hosted singing contest “The Winner Is ...” was flat with a 0.9.

ABC’s obstacle-course show “Wipeout” slipped 9% from last week.
