Chris Pratt pays off Super Bowl bet with Chris Evans: Everyone wins

Chris Pratt took his Seahawks' Super Bowl loss like a superhero on Friday, showing up with Chris Evans in Boston to pay off his very public wager.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Pratt donned his Star-Lord costume and showed up in character Friday at Christopher's Haven, where families can stay -- solidly in New England Patriots territory -- while their kids fight cancer.

"Made good on that #twitterbowl bet! Starlord is [proud] to be in Boston today at [#Christopher's Haven] with Chris Evans and some awesome families. #12thMan," he wrote on Facebook, posting pictures from the visit.

With him? Evans, smiling and proudly waving a Tom Brady jersey while Pratt cringed in painful defeat.

The two Marvel-movie titans -- Evans, of course, plays Captain America -- had clashed on Twitter in the best way a couple of weeks before the big game, right after Seattle pulled off a dramatic comeback win to earn its Super Bowl spot.

"Well, well, well @prattprattpratt, looks like our teams are going into battle," Evans taunted. "For the next 2 weeks, you are not my friend, you are my enemy."

After a bit of social-media trash-talking, the bet was on: Pratt would do the Star-Lord thing in Boston if the Pats won; Evans would show up at Seattle Children's Hospital in a Tom Brady jersey if the 'Hawks took the title.

Nicely, after the Seahawks managed to literally throw away a victory in the game's last seconds on Super Bowl Sunday, the actors announced they'd make joint appearances in both cities.

The bet resulted in more than a fun time for the kids and some headlines for the actors too. More than $27,000 was raised for the organizations, according a Seattle Children's Hospital tweet.

Separate from the bet, Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson posted some pics Tuesday from his own visit to the children's hospital.

No losers here.
