Emma Stone seems to like keeping things short: The actress has chopped her coif once again.
The fresh cut complemented the redhead's plunging forest-green Valentino gown at the premiere of her latest film, "Birdman or the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance" at the 71st Venice International Film Festival at Venice Lido.
Stone posed for a photo call in the coastal Italian city earlier that day wearing her hair pulled back in a down-do. The actress had previously sported extensions for a film, People said, and Us Weekly reported that Stone's hairstylist Mara Roszak had taken the shears to her client's shoulder-length mane during the visit.
Her "Birdman" costar Michael Keaton; Edward Norton and his producer wife, Shauna Robertson; Amy Ryan; Andrea Riseborough and director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu also attended the ceremony, where the film was presented in competition. The comedy, which also stars Zach Galifianakis and Naomi Watts, is slated to hit U.S. theaters in October.
"Birdman" follows a former superhero actor, played by Keaton, trying to revive his career by starring in a Broadway play.
And speaking of Broadway -- it was recently announced that Stone would succeed Michelle Williams in the revival of "Cabaret."
