Swish! Kim Kardashian rents out Staples Center for Kanye's 38th-birthday bash

This couple sure loves their sports arenas: Kim Kardashian rented out Staples Center on Monday to celebrate husband Kanye West's 38th birthday with an NBA-style basketball game for him and his pals.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star booked time at the downtown L.A. venue to throw West a private bash complete with personalized jerseys, refs and Laker girls.

Incidentally, West rented out San Francisco's AT&T Park on the reality TV starlet's 33rd birthday -- that's where he popped the question in October 2013.

As always, the event was a Kardashian-family affair that included her sisters and a glut of social media bragging.

"WEST VS EAST," the "Selfish" author tweeted Monday, sharing a snapshot of West's birthday squad. She also thanked Staples Center for letting her rent out the venue -- a showy fact that was repeated by several party-goers.

TMZ reported that Kardashian dropped $110,000 on the lavish gift. Reps for AEG, which owns and operates Staples Center, did not immediately respond to requests for confirmation.

She and West also posed for pics with several sequin-clad Lakers cheerleaders and younger sis Kylie Jenner.

"Kim rented out staples [expletive]!!! Him and his boys are going to ball!!!! Happy birthday Yeezy!!!!" Kim's younger sister Khloe Kardashian wrote on Instagram, captioning a snapshot of West wearing a basketball jersey with his last name on it.

"Happy Birthday @kanyewest #KanyeWest !!!!" Kim's mom Kris Jenner wrote on Instagram. "Best Birthday Party ever..love that Kim rented out the Staples Center for the day so you and your friends could play!!!! #nobigdeal #uniformswerefab #surprise #eastvswest #love #family."

NBA stars Russell Westbrook, James Harden and John Wall, musicians Justin Bieber, Tyga, Pusha T., 2 Chainz and celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak also joined the festivities -- some of them wearing "East" jerseys.

Retired basketball player John Salley reportedly announced the pick-up game, and Kardashian is said to have hired NBA referees to call it. Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O'Neal and Scottie Pippen are said to have made video tributes to the "Yeezus" rapper, which were shown on the live scoreboard, TMZ said.

"All of Me" singer John Legend, who is the couple's close pal and sang at their Florence, Italy, wedding, made another musical appearance for them by serenading the rapper with "Happy Birthday," as seen in a video posted by Kris Jenner. Legend also reportedly sang the national anthem before the game.

Kardashian alluded to the surprise early Monday, tweeting: "Kanye's bday today is gonna be a major SWISH!!! I planned the craziest surprise! Will share later! Sooooo excited!!!!!!"

The pregnant fashionista also wished her husband a happy birthday on Twitter, calling him her "best friend in the entire world!"

"U R the most amazing husband &dad! U inspire me every single day," she wrote, adding, "You make all of your dreams reality & it's fascinating to be by your side & watching it all happen! You have a heart of gold! Have the best birthday ever! #SWISH"

The good life, indeed.
