Justin Bieber leaves concert, blames food poisoning

Justin Bieber is perhaps the only star to have gone viral while he's sound asleep, and here's the title of the video that did it: "Justin Bieber sleeping with Girl in Brasil (REAL and ORIGINAL VIDEO)." Sounds provocative, no? But it's just a clip of a party guest who filmed herself with the pop star after he dozed off during a post-concert shindig.

Food poisoning would seem to be the least of the damage accrued on Justin Bieber’s rocky South American tour. But that’s what the young singer is claiming after walking offstage an hour into his concert in Buenos Aires.

After starting an hour and a half late at his Sunday set, the singer bailed on his performance, and told the crowd, “I’m not feeling too good... I think I’m out of energy,” and walked offstage -- reportedly to the sound of very un-Belieber-like widespread booing.

Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun later released a statement to the Associated Press saying that Bieber had been on an IV drip for eight hours prior to the show due to the severity of that food poisoning. Bieber followed it up with a photo on Instagram showing him hooked up to an IV, with the caption “Food poisoning is #allbad” -- a reference to his new single “All Bad,” proving that even in the throes of gastrointestinal distress, Bieber still can find the energy for self-promotion.

Braun later said Bieber handled the situation “like a man who cares and put his beliebers before himself.”

It’s the latest malaise to strike Bieber on this raucous tour. His volley of misfortune in South America (both unintended and self-inflicted) includes walking offstage in Brazil after being struck by a bottle onstage, vandalizing a wall with arguably racist graffiti in that same country, paparrazi reportedly capturing him leaving a Buenos Aires nightclub with a van full of young women (causing his bodyguards to allegedly get in a tussle with club staff), and a Brazilian partygoer capturing him in a rather beatific snooze.
