Traffic streams along Crenshaw Boulevard near its intersection with Exposition Boulevard in the Crenshaw district of Los Angeles. The district is about 60% African American. Prominent buildings along this stretch of the boulevard include the West Angeles Cathedral, left, the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza shopping center and the Angelus Funeral Home, which was designed by noted architect Paul R. Williams.
