Some Beltway insiders turn out to be bug-addled and “BrainDead” in this new Washington, D.C.-set series that mixes comedy, horror and political satire. Mary Elizabeth Winstead and “Monk’s” Tony Shalhoub star. 10 p.m. CBS

Mike Epps, not the late John Candy, is the bachelor they call “Uncle Buck” in this new sitcom inspired by John Hughes’ 1989 comedy. James Lesure and Nia Long also star. 9 p.m. ABC

Men who were raised by single moms, sans any help from their respective dads, share their stories with filmmaker Daphne McWilliams in the 2015 documentary “In a Perfect World.” 8 p.m. Showtime

Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome are back as Gilded Age celebutantes in another season of the reality-TV send-up “Another Period.” Jason Ritter, Paget Brewster and “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks also star. 10 p.m. Comedy Central

This is the dawning of the second season of “Aquarius.” This crime drama starring David Duchovny as a police detective in 1960s L.A. returns with an extended, commercial-free episode. With Gethin Anthony as Charles Manson. 9 p.m. NBC

Former football star Tim Tebow is contractor Mike Holmes’ new co-host for a new season of the reality competition “Home Free.” 9 p.m. Fox

Rap music’s the Game, tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams, et al., are featured in the conclusion of the three-part docu-series “Streets of Compton.” 10 p.m. A&E

The clone-tastic sci-fi drama “Orphan Black” closes another season. Tatiana Maslany stars. 10 p.m. BBC America

The fourth-season finale of “Inside Amy Schumer” takes the form of a clip show hosted by Bravo’s Andy Cohen. 10 p.m. Comedy Central

“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s” Rachel Bloom faces “Boardwalk Empire’s” Michael Shannon – advantage, Bloom – in an all-new “Lip Sync Battle.” 10 p.m. Spike

“The Good Dinosaur” is herbivorous, and so befriends a young Neanderthal boy instead of eating him, in Disney’s computer-animated 2015 adventure tale. 8 p.m. Starz

When off-the-grid living turns out to be harder than it looks, it’s “Homestead Rescue” to the rescue in this new unscripted series. 10 p.m. Discovery Channel

“Family Guy’s” Seth MacFarlane once again voices the foul-mouthed teddy bear named Ted in the 2015 comedy sequel “Ted 2.” Mark Wahlberg also stars. 8 p.m. HBO

Bring back Tori Spelling, add James Franco as director and co-star, and toss in a vampire lesbian who wasn’t in the original, and that’s how you do a no-we-are-not-kidding remake of the 1996 TV movie “Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?” Emily Meade (“The Leftovers”) also stars. 8 p.m. Lifetime

“General Hospital’s” Vanessa Marcil gets dis-engaged and then it’s up to “Gilmore Girls’” David Sutcliffe to save the wedding day in the new made-for-cable romantic fable “The Convenient Groom.” 9 p.m. Hallmark Channel

“Saturday Night Live’s” Jason Sudeikis and “Community’s” Alison Brie try to keep it platonic in the naughty but nice 2015 rom-com “Sleeping With Other People.” Amanda Peet, Adam Scott and Natasha Lyonne also star. 9 p.m. Showtime
