Bill Murray reveals his great unrealized dream

Share

Stories of Bill Murray’s real life exploits are nearly as famous as his films these days. But even the great Bill Murray has some spontaneous dreams he has never been able to fulfill. And Jimmy Kimmel managed to figure out one of them on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Murray has done a lot, such as spontaneously tending bar, driving a cab driver around in his own cab while the man plays the saxophone, and crashing engagement photos. But there is still one thing on his list.

So what is it? Ice fishing in Siberia? Drinking a mixture of sodas from a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine?

No, it’s going to the airport with nothing but a passport and deciding where you want to go when you get there. Bethesda, Md.? Sure! Bermuda? Of course! Casablanca? Why not?

Unfortunately, Murray seemed skeptical that he’d ever be able to have that experience.

“The rules have changed,” he said.

But Kimmel didn’t want him to give up.

“I think if anyone could do it, it’s you,” he said. “You do weird things all the time and people are OK with it.”

“I’m not going to give up my dream,” Murray said.
