FX salutes 'The Americans' with a third season pickup

The Russians are coming ... again.

"The Americans," FX's drama about Russian KGB  spies masquerading as a suburban American married  couple, has been renewed for a third season of 13 episodes.

The series, which stars Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys and Noah Emmerich, is currently in its second season.

"The Americans" was created by and is executive produced by Joe Weisberg, a former CIA agent who went on to become an author and screenwriter.
