As news of Bill Cosby’s counterclaims against seven women accusing him of sexual misconduct spreads across social media spheres, Twitter users are registering their thoughts on the matter.

Monday also saw Boston University revoke the 78-year-old comedian’s honorary degree, which had been bestowed upon him during a May 2014 commencement ceremony.

For the most part, people seem somewhat agog of Cosby’s actions in light of the widespread accusations against him.

Other users are taking the lawsuit as an opportunity to run the numbers again and try to speculate what Cosby’s lawsuit may mean for the other accusations levied against him.

And some are taking the opportunity to reiterate their support for the beleaguered actor, viewing the widely reported accusations of dozens of women as a coordinated attack to defraud the onetime star of “The Cosby Show.”

Though it’s unclear how Cosby’s countersuits will play out, the court of public opinion is already in session and the verdict does not look promising for him.
