Casting the classics
Taking a classic work of fiction and adapting it for the screen is an ambitious project. Much more can be packed in between two covers than can be portrayed in two hours, for starters. And actors must embody a character that has lived in the minds of readers for generations. Casting can make all the difference – not always in a good way.
