Al Gore, Tipper Gore snap up Montecito-area villa

Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have added a Montecito-area property to their real estate holdings, reports the Montecito Journal.

The couple spent $8,875,000 on an ocean-view villa on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, a real estate source familiar with the deal confirms. The Italian-style house has six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Good to see Al Gore living up to his admonitions that people should live lives of modest consumption for the sake of Mother Earth. His Carbon Credit scheme must be paying off really well.

I hope Al bought this mansion on a high cliff! I'd hate to see Al go flying-off in a private jet while the ocean waters rise and expose the home to sea water!

Al would FREAK OUT if he came home to find Tipper's bones and a bunch of layabout polar bears squatting on his property with the AC turned down to 35-degrees!

Now the nat. Enquirer is claiming there's a tape of Obama cheating on his wife. The Dems are certainly going to have to revert to their defensive game plan, or you can kiss this whole Marxist-based society plan goodbye.

Pray for the oil flow to cease in the Gulf. The atheists can't save us now. They're too busy killing fetuses and digging-up dirt on Sarah Palin.
